چکیده
Background/AimsPrimary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most lethal tumor diseases in world. Receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) are thought to play a vital role HCC and Ephrin-A4 ligand (EFNA4) membrane-bound molecule that can activate RTKs through erythropoietin-producing (Eph) receptors. However, specific EFNA4 remains unknown. CD146 promotes metastasis and predicts poor prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third leading cause of cancer-related mortality worldwide. Recurrence and metastasis after curative resection remain critical obstacles in HCC treatment. CD146 predicted poor prognosis of a variety of cancers including melanoma, breast tumors, prostate cancer, and gastric cancer. However, the role of CD146 in HCC has not yet been systematically e...
متن کاملOncogene TUBA1C promotes migration and proliferation in hepatocellular carcinoma and predicts a poor prognosis
The prognostic biomarkers and potential therapy targets are urgently needed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). In this article, we report the expression of TUBA1C was significantly increased in HCC on mRNA and protein level, and this finding was further validated in another two independent datasets. Survival analysis was also implemented on these three datasets, and TUBA1C high expression group...
متن کاملOverexpression of CTHRC1 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Promotes Tumor Invasion and Predicts Poor Prognosis
Collagen triple helix repeat containing-1 (CTHRC1) is a secreted glycoprotein that activates the planar cell polarity pathway of Wnt signaling. Using microarray analysis, we found that the CTHRC1 gene is overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The level of CTHRC1 mRNA was measured in 201 surgically resected HCCs using real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Overexpre...
متن کاملOverexpression of Zwint predicts poor prognosis and promotes the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma by regulating cell-cycle-related proteins
Introduction Zwint, a centromere-complex component required for the mitotic spindle checkpoint, has been reported to be overexpressed in different human cancers, but it has not been studied in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Materials and methods The role of Zwint in hepatocellular carcinoma cell proliferation capacities was evaluated by using cell counting kit-8 (CCK8), flow cytometry,...
متن کاملActin‐like 6A predicts poor prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma and promotes metastasis and epithelial‐mesenchymal transition
UNLABELLED Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most lethal cancers worldwide because of metastasis. Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is widely considered to be crucial to the invasion-metastasis cascade during cancer progression. Actin-like 6A (ACTL6A) is initially verified important for cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration. In this study, we find that ACTL6A plays...
